Unfortunately there has been a miscommunication with the owner of the Heroncliff camp site where this weekend's social was to be held. This coming weekend we will no longer be able to camp there as it is double booked. Good news is we have been able to get open sites at the Kondomo camp site which is situated 2km's down the road from Heroncliff camp site.

Women's Day social ride was a hit! To the brave souls that went out, did Boundary Lane as a warm up and then got rained on, thanks for joining us! Boundary Lane has become a new bench mark. The Social turned out to be a Short Ride and a Long Brunch at Apron Strings, which we all agreed was the way better option :) It was great having the families and kids join us for breakfast. HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY to all.

SIX PLACES LEFT....The Trans Karoo is in its second running this year and takes place every two years, normally around April, however, this year it will be from 5th to 10th August. The tour is held over 5 days and each year the route changes. It leads mountain bikers through approximately 500 kilometers of this beautiful region, the Karoo, in the Eastern Cape. The entire route sticks to good gravel roads so the level of technical riding is kept to the minimum.

There was a great turn out to this event and it was good to see a brave group of Mountain Bikers in amoungst the guys and girls on bikes with engines. News and photos to follow next week.

Its been a long time since a Downhill race was hosted in the Eastern Cape. After the disappointment of the PE downhill Nationals being rained out last month, we've decided to put on a DH race for local downhill enthusiasts.
