Merrell Norm-Hudlin Trails are in the process of providing additional facilities and these include the following. The provision of an additional 6 tables/benches with umbrellas, braai facilities, toilet facilities and a shop to cater for basic needs such as coffee, drinking water and refreshments as required. These facilities will be for members only and are not open to the general public.
It is important to note that this trail was developed to provide a training facility for trail runners and MTBikers in a secure environment and to cater for all levels of ability. It is a non technical training enviroment created to encourage new members to our sport but at the same time provided good endurance, strength and stamina training for hardcore MTBikers. Having said that it remains our intention to slowly introduce more technical options to the trail without detracting from its original objective as set out above. We have to do this without altering or changing the natural environment and retaining its current character.
Kind regards,
Lex.
