Ride Details
Date: 15 January 2012
Time: 08:00 am
Venue: Hopewell Conservation Estate
This social ride will have three starting groups catering for different levels of fitness.
Group 1: Strong riders who usually compete in their age category at races
Group 2: Fit riders with experience who are not too bothered about racing
Group 3: This will be a group for beginners and those who want to get back in shape after the festive season.
The route will be very scenic and there is a very good chance of seeing the big herd of Eland. The route is 22km long and those who are looking for a good workout are welcome to do two laps of the route.
The ride will be marshalled by riders, each group will have a marshall who is familiar with the route, and therefore riders need to stay with the marshall in order not to take any wrong turns.
